Background and Experience
Brad’s career began in the military and Department of Defense and continued with the American Heart Association and self-employment. He now works as a Career Coach for students and alumni of Texas A&M University-Commerce while pursuing a degree in counseling. Brad plans to apply his current education and training for helping adults of all ages, from college or early vocations through retirement. He applies decades of personal experience to address challenges with life transitions, self-esteem, coping skills, social or work problems, family or relationship issues, and grief from loss of significant others or life-roles.
The best word to describe my career and life would be chaos. However, through the many transitions I have experienced I am ready to build bridges for others to cross and overcome the chasms they face. I have always believed that today is the first day of the rest of your life. No matter what the realities of life may be for you, there are choices available for improving the parts you can control and dealing with aspects beyond your control. Whether coming from depths of despair or looking for paths to conquer future obstacles, I look forward to establishing the environment for understanding your world and helping you discover your path for achieving your goals in therapy.
