Background and Experience

Dawn has experience working with children, teens  and adults struggling with a variety of life’s struggles.  She has a  vast experience in the areas of serving individuals with severe and  mental illness, self harm, grief and trauma, chronic pain, ADHD (child  and adult), anxiety and mood disorders, bipolar disorder, disruptive  behaviors, Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders.  Dawn is also a Board Approved Supervisor of the Licensed Professional Counselors in Texas.

Education and Training

Dawn has been working in the mental health care industry in North Texas. She graduated from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M - Commerce) in 1990 earning a BA in Psychology. She then graduated from University of North Texas in 1994 with a Master of Education (M.Ed.).

Session fees start at $140

Insurance

Dawn is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare and in the process of joining Aetna and Baylor Scott & White.
