Personal Statement

As a social worker, I enjoy walking alongside individuals in the trenches of life. I like to create a safe, respectful, honest and trusting environment so that we can work together to meet your goals. Flexible in approach, I use different treatment styles depending on your needs. I view the therapeutic process as one of compassionate collaboration in which clients gain new insights, build inner strength, and create desired life changes. Together we work to identify which aspects are beyond our control, finding acceptance and ownership as needed, and ultimately the empowerment and freedom to embrace change.
