Background and Experience

JC works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.  He has experience with a variety of issues including: trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, and unhealthy coping strategies.  He also works with couples for enhanced connectedness in emotion and communication and in conflict management.  Christian counseling available upon request.

Personal Statement

We are all affected by choices made in our lifetime and the impact to relationships with family, friends, and ourselves can seem like too much to bear.  I have a passion for helping others work through their trying times by cultivating an atmosphere that encourages healing and accountability.   I am a solution-focused therapist but eclectic in treatment modalities depending on the client.  My goal is to partner with you so we can navigate your predicament and experience tangible changes. 

Education and Training

JC earned his Bachelor of Science in Counseling at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas and Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

Schedule

JC is available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays via telehealth.

Session fees start at $200

Insurance

JC accepts Aetna, Baylor Scott & White, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Crime Victim's Compensation, and United Healthcare.
