Haley Grayson, LPC-Associate

Background and Experience

Haley  has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including teenagers, adults, and couples, in various contexts. During her time on a college campus as part of her clinical experience, Haley  navigated issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and a spectrum of other mental health concerns. Her hands-on involvement with clients from different backgrounds and age groups has  honed her ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet individual needs effectively. Haley's commitment to understanding and addressing  the complexities of mental health coincides with her dedication to  fostering holistic well-being among her clients. 

Personal Statement

Since my early years in elementary school, I've been drawn to the idea of making a difference in people's lives. The sentiment encapsulated in Leonard Cohen's words, "There is a crack in everything, that's how the  light gets in," has resonated deeply with me. It speaks to the inherent resilience and potential for growth within each individual, even amidst challenges and imperfections. Guided by a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, I believe in illuminating these strengths within clients, recognizing them as potent resources for navigating life's complexities. By fostering an environment of empowerment and self-awareness, I aim to facilitate meaningful transformations and empower individuals to harness their innate abilities in pursuit of their goals and well-being. 

Education and Training

Haley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology as well as a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health  Counseling, both earned from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah,  Oklahoma. Throughout her graduate program, Haley gained invaluable clinical experience working with young adults, adults, and couples within a college campus setting. 

Schedule

Haley sees clients in the Wylie office and via telehealth on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Fees

Session fees start at $75

Insurance

Haley accepts Aetna, Centerstone, ChampVA, and Cigna and can submit claims as an out-of-network provider with United Healthcare
