Personal Statement
My passion in life is to create safe spaces where people can express who they are, process what they are going through, find healing, and grow into healthier versions of themselves. In session, my goals are to provide empathy, authenticity, and support by meeting my clients where they are amidst the challenges of life. I believe that each person is unique with individual needs and goals that can be understood and supported through counseling. By nature, I am person-centered in my theoretical approach believing that healing comes from a supportive, nonjudgmental, and genuine therapeutic relationship; however, I use methods and techniques from a variety of counseling models. If requested by my clients, I can provide Christian counseling.
