Background and Experience
Carrie is a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience as a counselor, educator, and high school theatre director in public schools. This diverse background gives her a deep understanding of the challenges young people and families face, and a unique perspective on growth, identity, and resilience.
She is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages, particularly adolescents, teens, and young adults, as they navigate life’s complexities with confidence and self-awareness. Her years in the theatre classroom have shaped her appreciation for human experience, allowing her to connect with clients in a thoughtful, creative, and compassionate way.

Education and Training
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Dallas Baptist University and later completed a Master of Education in Counseling Education at Lamar University in 2015. Over the past seven years, she has worked as a school counselor while also providing counseling services to teens, adults, and families in private and community settings.
