Background and Experience

Binoy is experienced in providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based therapies to

individuals of all ages, from young children to adults. He works with those facing challenges such as

PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, anger outbursts, addiction, behavioral issues, trauma-related concerns,

and faith-related issues. Passionate about the institution of marriage, Binoy enjoys working with married

couples to establish, restore, and enhance their relationships. His diverse work settings include college

campuses, private practices, non-profit agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and churches. He is committed to

working collaboratively with clients, using an eclectic counseling style that offers client-centered care,

tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Upon request, he also provides faith-based

Christian counseling.

Personal Statement

Having lost my father at a young age, I was fortunate to have caring people support me through life’s

challenges. This not only instilled in me a deep sense of empathy, but also played a significant role in my

opportunity to serve as The Dean of Students and as the Campus Counselor, where I equipped and

mentored leaders and educators in a seminary setting. While the valuable training, years of experience,

and the use of widely acclaimed techniques shape the custom design of my therapy, it is my emphasis on

the therapeutic alliance that truly helps my clients activate their natural healing processes to manage or

recover from the symptoms and distress caused by life experiences."

Education and Training

Binoy holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. In 2017, he received

training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). He is also trained in Trust-Based

Relational Intervention (TBRI), Christian counseling, and crisis counseling. Binoy has experience providing

therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group settings.

Session fees start at $225

Insurance

Binoy  is in the process of contracting with Aetna, Baylor Scott & White, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Triwest, and United Healthcare and can submit claims out of network if requested.
