Background and Experience
Allison works with pre-teens, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has experience in both private and group practice settings throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and has supported clients navigating trauma, stressful life events, boundary challenges, and a range of mental health concerns.
Her clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and personality-related concerns. Allison has a particular passion for working with teens, couples, pregnant and postpartum women, and individuals navigating women’s issues and major life transitions.
Allison takes an eclectic and person-centered approach to therapy, believing in treating the client rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to create individualized treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can develop healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward becoming the best versions of themselves.

Allison is a dedicated advocate for mental health who believes that emotional and mental well-being are essential to living a balanced and fulfilling life. She approaches therapy with compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each client’s unique experiences.
As a Navy veteran, Allison brings resilience and a strong understanding of life’s challenges and transitions. Her personal and professional experiences allow her to connect with clients with empathy and understanding as they navigate difficult circumstances and relationship dynamics.
Allison is passionate about helping people build stronger relationships with themselves and others. She works collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether working with teens, couples, or women navigating pregnancy, postpartum experiences, or other life transitions, Allison’s goal is to empower clients to heal, grow, and become the healthiest and most authentic versions of themselves.
Education and Training
Allison earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American Military University. In 2024 , she earned her Master of Science from Old Dominion University. Allison has gained her clinical experience working in a community care clinic for veterans and an outpatient group setting for children, teens and adults.Additionally, she completed an internship at a private practice where she saw a variety of different populations and diagnoses. She has experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group settings.
