Background and Experience
Kerryan has experience working with school age children, teenagers, adults, and elders dealing with
issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, self-worth, grief and loss, IDD, substance
abuse, ADHD, co-occurring disorders, and schizophrenia. Kerryan has worked in different settings
including elementary school, community mental health organizations, medical hospital, crisis center,
substance abuse organization, national youth advocate program, and psychiatric hospital. Kerryan’s
approach to therapy is person centered and strengths-based; will work with each client to determine
the best counseling approach for their unique needs.
Personal Statement
As a social worker, I enjoy helping clients work though difficult life situations and collaborating to find
solutions. Building on healthy coping skills to maintain mental and emotional well-being. I enjoy working
with individuals and their families to empower the support system. I am here to listen attentively with
patience; in my office you are in a safe place, trauma informed, and non-judgmental zone.
Education and Training
Kerryan earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Ohio Dominican University. She completed her
Master of Social Work at The Ohio State University, in Columbus Ohio. Kerryan has been licensed as a
Social Worker for Eleven years. She gained her clinical experience through her work in crisis centers,
community mental health agencies, and psychiatric hospitals.
