Background and Experience
Vanity has many years experience working with women, teens and children in multiple settings. She has provided services to women before, during, and after pregnancy, women and children in homeless and domestic violence shelters, and teens and young women who had been sex trafficked or sexually exploited. Vanity has many years of experience working with both situational and complex trauma. While pursuing her clinical license, Vanity continues to work as a school social worker. She is excited to work with youth, adolescents, and adults who have emotional and behavioral difficulties, various mental health diagnoses, childhood trauma, cognitive disabilities, and those that struggle with grief, drug abuse, relationships and depression.
Personal Statement
I have always been passionate about encouraging people to live their best life. Your best will not look like someone else’s and that is okay. I want to help you find what that means for you. I use various interventions including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and multiple other modalities and techniques to meet each client's individual needs. I will empower you to face any obstacle you may encounter and together, we will find an approach that works for you.
Education and Training
Vanity earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and her Master of Social Work at West Texas A&M University. She gained experience working with a non-profit organization that provided services to youth and women who have been trafficked or sexually exploited.
Schedule
Vanity is in the Plano office on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Vanity accepts Aetna, Centerstone, ChampVA, and Cigna and can submit claims as an out-of-network provider with United Healthcare
