Personal Statement
I started out my education with a strong desire to help people and eventually realized that through social work, I could do just that. While I have experience in different types of social work positions, I have found that through counseling, I can help individuals deal with problems and grow. Utilizing a strengths perspective, I believe that we can work together to overcome whatever obstacles you may face. We all face difficult times and I strongly believe that therapy can be just the tool to help individuals deal with whatever problems they are experiencing. As a social worker, I am committed to exploring all environmental impacts and the effects they have on each individual.
